COVID-19 Policy Plan

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be a global threat, the top priority of Midwest Logistics is accounting for the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, partners and community members. Our organization is closely monitoring the situation and is diligently following all guidelines presented by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Midwest Logistics is committed to providing a safe workplace for our employees and we have taken steps to ensure our workers remain healthy and aware of the latest developments as they occur.

Safety precautions have been established including close monitoring of all employees for any possible illness. Any worker exhibiting symptoms will be sent home and advised to consult medical advice if the situation dictates. Furthermore, any products these employees have come into contact with will be quarantined until deemed safe through disinfection. Although we already have a very strict cleaning and disinfecting protocol, we will be extra diligent in this aspect including cleaning and disinfecting of all packaging lines and warehouse storage areas.

At the current time, we are still working with our customers to ensure that all orders are being fulfilled and new product is still able to make it to our warehouse safely. Although the situation is continually evolving, we are committed to ensuring that there is no interruption in the supply-chain and minimal impact will be experienced. We would ask that if you anticipate any change in your demand, that you let us know as soon as possible. This will help us stay ahead of the current issues and, of course, if situations do develop that could impact delivery times, we will be sure to contact the affected customers.

We will continue to monitor ongoing developments and will update our protocols and policies as necessary. Please reach out to us for any concerns you may have regarding this issue. Thank you for your partnership and we wish you the very best.

– Lucas Parmenter, CEO
